Ghanaian Lawyer and activist, Beatrice Annan Esq has opinionated that the opposition party, NDC is currently the most attractive political brand.
According to the political activist, people are rushing in to get the party’s membership card. She intimated that it is a sign that Ghanaians are desperate for a change of government.
She shared her opinions on social media saying “The demands for NDC membership card are overwhelming yet very assuring“.
Life in Ghana has become tough for even the salaried worker. Ghana’s annual inflation rate accelerated for the eleventh consecutive month to 23.6% in April of 2022, from 19.4% in March. That was the highest inflation rate since January of 2004.
Food prices and utility charges have skyrocketed and the government in power is doing little to nothing to alleviate the pressure on Ghanaians. Instead, it is blaming Covid and the war between Russia and Ukraine for all of its economic failures.
The country still suffers even after the implementation of the E-levy bill. There is hardship everywhere thanks to wastage and misappropriation of funds. Strikes have been more frequent than it was some years ago.
Our president in all the chaos has found a new hobby and that is bathing in the air with expensive flights. At least we are ‘happy’ one person if having fun in Ghana.
Still in politics, Ghanain minority leader in parliament, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has cautioned security agencies in the country to remain neutral and not side with the NPP to rig the next elections to be held in 2024.
The lawmaker for Tamale south while speaking on GHONE television added that his party is more than ready to stand up to security agencies if they try to intimidate Ghanaians who try to vote the NPP out.
