Ghanaians will not fall for NPP’s propaganda come 2024 – Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang

The aspiring vice president for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has stated that the eyes of Ghanaians have finally been opened to the opposition party’s propaganda and are ready to make productive choices now.

According to the university professor and running mate for John Mahama, her party has the magic wand to fix the “economic mess” created by the current incompetent administration.

To buttress her statement, the former education minister added that Ghanaians fell for NPP’s propaganda in 2016 when they voted out John Mahama from office after serving for only one term. Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang also claimed that the NDC was doing so well in handling the economy of the country.

She made these remarks at a ceremony held in the Biakoye Constituency of the Oti Region.

According to the veep aspirant, the government in power benefited from investments that were made by former President John Dramani Mahama when covid hit its peak.

Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang emphasised the need for Ghana to choose good leadership now more than ever. The academician believes that her running mate, John Mahama would deliver when given second chance.

She called on Ghanaians to look at the facts and figures and ignore any unnecessary propaganda and added that the NDC is putting in so much effort to win power come 2024.

In 2020 John Mahama settled on the former education minister to be his running mate in the 2020 election. Their victory would have meant that Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang would go on to be the first female vice president in the history of Ghana.
