If you are like me then you would find them a little annoying.

These pop-ups are a result of a subscription to MTN or other network services you may have done unknowingly. It is intrusive such that you may agree to the subscription terms without knowing.

The culprits responsible for these annoying pop-ups are the MTN Contact Xchange 1 and MTN MsgXpress1 network features.

The Contact Xchange 1 sends your digital business card to whomever you just called and every text it sends costs you something small. The MsgXpress1 also gives you options to send a quick message to a number you just dialled when you don’t reach them.

As much as they may look helpful, they cost you some airtime if you are the type that clicks yes and agrees to every popup you see on your phone.

I personally find it annoying hence this article is for those who would like to disable this needless feature.
