Massive Blackhole in the centre of our Galaxy unveiled for the first time.
The universe is a massively infinite space and no one really knows exactly how big it is. It remains a mystery to astrophysicists with even all their sophisticated imagery equipment.
Capturing images in space comes at a huge cost and requires lots of work and skill. It is therefore a great advancement in science to be able to capture such an image of a black hole which exists in our galaxy, the milky way galaxy.
You may be asking what a black hole is. Well, as you guessed the name right, it is a massive black hole in the universe. Astrophysicists define a black hole as a region in space where gravity is extremely strong that even light cannot pass through.
If you managed to find yourself within this region you would be torn into tiny pieces because the gravity in a black hole is millions of times greater than what we feel on earth.
The image of a black hole captured in our galaxy was taken by a global team of radio astronomers.
The black hole is supermassive according to a tweet shared by IANS.

What Happens if a Blackhole appears close to the earth
Due to the high gravitational pull of the black hole, the point of our world closest to it would suffer a greater pull and could break the earth into pieces. It would be the end of the world. The orbits of all other planets would be distorted leading to a series of catastrophes we aren’t prepared for.
