This year’s cape coast Fetu Afehye has been such an epic experience and by far one of the best because it is more or less two festivals combined. Last year’s afahye didn’t come off thanks to Covid-19.

The festival started on the 29th of August Monday and will end on Sunday the 4th of September.

The programme lineup for the festival is packed with lots of interesting activities and one we are pleased to bring closer to our readers who can’t be here to experience it for themselves Is Old school day.

As the name implies, the entire town was themed to give celebrants a feel of the 80s and 90s. The streets were populated with people dressed in old-school attire.

A side attraction at Jubilee park was a free health screening and other activities.

The 2022 Fetu Afehye is going to climax with the orange Friday on Friday and a durbar on Saturday.

Organizers of both activities have promised to deliver nothing but a memorable event for indigenes and visitors.
